Collector's Guide

Welcome

Thank you for your interest in collecting original artwork from Northorpe-Art. This guide is designed to help you make informed, confident decisions—whether you’re a first-time buyer or a seasoned collector.

Why Collect Original Art?

Owning original art brings a unique atmosphere and story into your space. Each piece is crafted with care, rooted in genuine observation and a commitment to quality. My work blends realism with expressive detail, aiming to create a lasting connection between the artwork and its new home.

How to Choose the Right Piece

• Connect with the Subject:
Choose artwork that resonates with you—whether it’s a landscape, portrait, or still life. Art should evoke emotion and spark conversation.
• Consider Your Space:
Measure your wall and consider lighting. Think about how the colours and mood of the piece will complement your environment.
• Ask Questions:
If you’d like more details about a painting’s inspiration, technique, or framing options, please contact me via www.Northorpe-Art.uk .

Caring for Your Artwork

• Display:
Hang your painting away from direct sunlight and sources of heat or moisture.
• Cleaning:
Dust gently with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using cleaning products or water on the surface.
• Framing:
Professional framing enhances both the appearance and longevity of your artwork. I’m happy to advise on suitable options.

Framing & Presentation

Many pieces are available unframed, allowing you to choose a style that suits your space. If you’d like recommendations or wish to discuss framing before purchase, please get in touch.
